AMES, Iowa – Iowa State next splits up for the 44 Farms Team Invite in College Station and the Jim Duncan Invite in Des Moines.

At Texas A&M, 34 teams will compete including Auburn, Baylor, East Texas A&M, Eastern Michigan, Georgia, Houston, HCU, Illinois, Incarnate Word, Lamar, Louisville, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oregon State, Penn State, Princeton, Sam Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State, Texas Tech, USC, UT-Arlington, UTSA, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.
The Cyclones will return to College Station May 28-31 as Texas A&M also hosts NCAA West Prelims.
Events begin Friday at 11 a.m. at the 44 Farms Team Invite with multi events, and at 12:30 p.m. with the discus at the Jim Duncan Invite. The Jim Duncan Invite will be streamed on ESPN+ beginning at 1:55 p.m. Events continue Saturday at the 44 Farms Team Invite from 10:30 a.m. to 8:05 p.m.
Last week, six men's distance runners competed at the Stanford Invite. All six put up lifetime bests while four went down as top 10 program performances. Three rank top 15 nationally, led by Rodgers Kiplimo's 27:52.12 in the 10,000m ranking fourth. Robin Kwemoi Bera ranks ninth with a 13:38.12 5,000m and Quinton Orr stands in 13th with an 8:39.90 3,000m steeplechase.
The Cyclones will have another split squad week competing at the Kansas Relays April 17-19, where Big 12 Outdoor Championships will be held, while distance runners will run at the Bryan Clay Invite April 16-18.
